Dear Members and Dhamma Friends,
ABS Temple is kindly requesting your help to support the families, children and monks of Nepal who have survived the earthquake disaster. As you know, two days ago a massive 7.8 magnitude earthquake devastated Nepal. The death toll has reached 5000 and is growing with many missing. More than 6,500 have been injured and thousands have lost their homes.
Even the existing homes and multiple story dwellings are unsafe and people are living in open spaces for safety. According to UNICEF, at least 940,000 children are living in these severely affected areas and in urgent need of humanitarian assistance.

Bhante Shobhana is contacting the organizations in Nepal to find the best groups to receive our help and make sure that your donations directly reach the people with immediate needs for food, water, medicine and shelter.
